How do I eleminate all the search history when I double click on search?

  1. For Internet Explorer:Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom


  2. Double click on tool at the top of the screen; browser options will come up and  click clear.

  3. click 'Settings' tool button on new Yahoo! Toolbar

    click to uncheck the tick mark on 'Remember Recent Searches'

    click 'Clear Recent Searches'  just below it.

  4. Double click the search box > put your mouse pointer on what you want to delete to highlight it > press the Delete key on your keyboard. If you want to delete all searches, hold down the Delete key until everything is deleted.

  5. you have to go to the "TOOLS" option at the top of the screen,

    and then "INTERNET OPTIONS". You should see the history options right there on the general Tab
