How do I eliminate the click sound as I navigate from page to page?

I now hear a click sound when I navigate. It just started recently. I never had the problem before.

  1. turn the sound off. :P


  2. just mute the sound . or switch off the speakers

  3. keep th  volume down to zero

  4. On all Windows systems:

    Control Panel -> Sound and Audio devices.

    Go to the Sound tab.

    Scroll to Windows Explorer in the Program Events section.

    Disable the sounds for "Complete Navigation" and "Start Navigation". It should now eliminate the clicks that occur when you click links and load pages.

  5. Turn the volume on your speakers down silly.  

  6. In your control panel, go to Sounds, then Change Sound Scheme.  There is a list of actions, go to Start Navigation and set the sound to "None".
