Absolutely nothing....your dog is not a fish. You cannot enhance her color by feeding it better food.

You can't. In fact, my GSD's coat looks just like it did when he was 8 weeks old except in the "adult" form with a top and underneath coat.

* Thought I would add that you will want to get a good tool for when he starts shedding.. I got the fuminater (sp)... Greatest investment we made. We were brushing out GSD everyday and the shedding wouldn't stop... I used the furminater once and the problem is solved!!

You can't. As someone else said, it's in the genetic make up.

You can, however, enhance his coat by feeding a high quality food to keep his coat is top condition.

You can't change the color of a dog.  That's determined by mother nature.

What you can do is feed him good quality dog food.  Check this site and go for the highest star rating that you can afford.

You can even give him daily fish oil supplements, the same ones that humans take (in the vitamin aisle of your grocery/drug store).

Also keep him brushed well.  Get a de-shedding rake or a shedding blade (the blade I know works GREAT) and brush him twice a week to remove dead hair and keep him looking clean and shiny..

You can't.  Your puppy's coat will be changing shades of color quite often during his development.  Maybe he will turn out as red as you like, maybe he won't.  Hard to tell, but you can't change genetics.  :)

That's all genetic stuff, the color he's going to be is determined by his breeding.  To my knowledge there's nothing to be done to enhance it.

You could feed the dog a good diet promoting a healthy coat (hair) we also give my dog one egg a week and her coat is very pretty.
