How do I enter stock options in my portfolio?

Options are traded on exchanges just like stocks are.  All you need to do is open a brokerage account and apply for an options account.  Usually you need to prove you have experience and of course some minimum balance available.

Then just send an order like...

Buy 10 MSFT Jan 55 calls $1.60

Voila you have some options in your account.

If you just want to remind yourself of the time to trade, then put it on your calendar with a message to yourself.
