All site visited by google search (you know, under the large Google, in the middle of the screen) show up when I click in that box. I know how to clear it using delete browsing history but then everything else is deleted. How can I stop this from happening in the first place. I don't want it to remember all the searches I have done. Thanks for your help.

  1. You must erase the temperary internet files. Yo do that you must go to the tools menu at the top of internet explorer and go to the "internet options" butten. Click the "Delete..." butten and go to delete all. For Windows XP the buttens on the "Internet Options" window are a bit different but if you are ising XP you should be able to find out what your doing pretty easily.

  2. Click 'Tools' on our web browser

    Click 'Internet Options'

    Click 'History'

    Click 'Clear History'

    Click 'OK'

  3. Yah, man just click on the blank box  to view all of the thing you typed or when they start highlighting...dont click on the words just hover on it then hit the delete button on the keyboard...fastest way

  4. Download ccleaner http://www.piriform.com/

It'll erase all the historical search thoroughly.

  5. You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. This saves all previous searches in your search bar. Here's how to fix the problem:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

  6. Well, this will depend on your browser settings. Somewhere in the browser you can probably select a box that says: "Remember searches" or something like that.

For example, in Firefox, you go to "tools" then "options" and that option is right there. If your browser doesn't have that option, you might want to change browsers.
