I would like to delete all the sites I have visited on any particular day. There must be an easy way to do that.

  1. Open inet options in the control panel and hit the clear history tab. You can set the days to save to zero if you don't want any saved at all.

  2. Turn off AutoComplete= Go to Tools/Internet Options/Content tab/Within the Personal Information area, select 'AutoComplete'/Click on 'Clear Forms'.  Also uncheck the 'Forms' box in the same window.  Tools/ IO/content/autocomplete/settings/uncheck "use autocomplete for web addresses".

Go to General tab/click browsing history/delete/delete forms/clear history.

Click on "Tools" -> Internet Options.

At the lower half of this page, click on "Clear Search History."

Click on Run and type in %temp% and then hit enter.

    Try tools/internet options/advanced/security/put check mark in box, "empty temp ....blah blah ..."/apply/ok/ok         ..  and  tools/internet options/content/auto complete/click on"clear forms"/then uncheck all 3 boxes/ok/ok

Right click empty area of taskbar/properties/start menu tab/customize/Use advanced sections at top and bottom to customize according to your needs,wants,tastes/Also click on  "clear list"/ok/apply/ok.

  3. For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom

  4. Hello; Your home page is your home page... let's say you use Yahoo! You're not going to erase history on Yahoo, but you can erase the history from your local computer.

To erase your personal history, to to tools (above) > Internet Options > and youi'll notice two sections; one to erase history, and one for temporary internet files... if you're erasing, do both!  There's a wonderful program out there called Window Washer, by webroot; they make a few more great cleaning programs (spyware, etc.). It's worth downloading and trying for 15 days or so, then buying!  It automatically detects what you've got loaded, and what you should have ereased, far beyond what I've just explained to do!), and it helps to keep your computer fast, by cleaning unnecessary files, accumulated from daily internet surfing, and normal use.  When my system starts to get bogged down,  I just run the Window washer program! No worries. I also recommend it to all of my clients!

I hope this is what you were lookin' for!

    Mac
