    To expand (x + 1)^n, use Pascal's triangle to get the coefficients

    n = 0 | 1

    n = 5 | 1 5 10 10 5 1

    (a+b)^8=(a^8)+8(a^7)(b)+28(a^6)(b^2)+

    56(a^5)(b^3)+70(a^4)(b^4)+56(a^3)(b^5)

    +28(a^2)(b^6)+8(a)(b^7)+(b^8)

    therfore

    (x + 1)^8=(x^8)+8(x^7)+28(x^6)+

    56(x^5)+70(x^4)+56(x^3)+28(x^2)

    +8(x)+1
