Question:

How do I explain the hairdresser how I want my hair? LAYERS?!?

I have long hair, but it has some layers from before and I hated it, because it was cut from the front too short and I didn't want it so short from the front.

But I want layers again before school starts, but I don't know what to say. My mom will be cutting it because she's a hairdresser. So, I don't want to cut it in length, but I don't want my layers too long but not too short. In the middle. I also want to thin it out with a razor so my hair's thinner because it's kind of thick. I know that when you're getting layers, the hairdresser needs to blend the layers or something which brings your length up to make it look better. Would It look bad if I didn't do that and got it thinned out too? I'm really confused. My hair is wavy-curly, somewhere between there and I have side bangs which I'm growing out. So, my question is, what do you suggest, and if I do what I said above, would it look bad?

Thanks!

  1. i didn't read this all but you can chose a style from the magazine and tell her you want like that

  2. Okay, so the bottom of the hair like the long hair thats at the back of your head should be the longest. Then as you go up, your hair should get shorter by about 5cm or more if you want. the front should be like 3 cm cut off okay??? hope this helps!!  ~_~ =)

  3. get long layers she will know what that is they are not really long there are 3 layers and they are long i have that!! :)
