How do I explain this hair cut to my stylist?

Should I just show her the picture. I have the bangs already. My hair is longer than the pictures. I want to keep it long but, I want the smoothness and layers at the ends. Is she suppose to use a razor. Help! Tell me anything I should know! :D

I would show the picture to her.  After all a picture is worth a thousand words.  Razor's add softness to the ends and makes the overall look more sultry.  If your stylist is not comfortable using a razor ask about slicing with the shears to add the seperation and flowing strands around the frame of your face.

tell her that you would like some long layers cut into your hair. there isn't much more to that hair cut. it's cute and simple.

Bring the picture for sure.

If your hair is thick, you could ask for it to be thinned. When you get your hair razored your actually using more force and tension by pulling the razor through the hair. This can cause the ends to seem jagged. You could try getting it razored.

and i think they use scissors but in a slanted way

i cut my own hair so im not exactly sure if they use a razor on bangs but i dont think so :S sometimes they do tho it depends
