  1. Right-click the desktop

    Choose Properties

    Click the Screen Saver tab

    There you will see the settings on which screensaver will come up, and the Wait: number can specify how many minutes for the computer to be idle before the screensaver comes up.

  2. Right click on an empty space on your desktop.

    -If you're running Vista click on "Personalize" and then on "Screen Saver." A new box should pop up that lets you change the screen saver as well as the time to wait before the computer goes to it.

    -If you're running XP click on "Properties." A new box should pop up with a tab for screen saver. If you click on that you should reach the same menu that lets you change settings.

  3. 1. Right click desktop

    2. Click Properties...

    3. Click Screen Saver tab

    4. Look for box with up & down arrows; this adjusts how long it takes for the screen saver to kick in.  You can also change the screen saver here.

    5. Click OK.

  4. 1) Right click on the desktop;

    2) Choose "Properties";

    3) In the "Display Properties" window click on "Screen Saver" tab;

    4) Increase time value for parameter "Wait:"

    5) Click OK
