How do I extract .r00 files?

I have downloaded something, and when it finished, it said 100% success. I opened the folder, and inside was about 17 more folders. When I double clicked on one of the folders, it did nothing. And when I right clicked, it only gave me these options:

Open

Explore

Search...

Send to ->

When I click open, it gives me an hour glass then does nothing. Explore does the same thing. Search does nothing. And it wont send to anywhere.

After about 10 minutes of fiddling, I got it to open. I had to select all of the folders, then right click and choose open. It then opens a folder that contains around 17 files. One of them is *.rar, then the rest are .r00 or .r01 .r02 you get the point. When I choose to open them with WinRAR 3.7, it tells me it can't find it. I think it is because you have to open all the folders at once to be able to get to it.

*Another thing, when I right click after having all of them selected and go to properties (this is for the folders and the RAR files) it says that they are read only and hidden and encrypted and everything possible. But when I uncheck everything, and click apply, it goes right back to how it was when i click it again!* *Also in WinRAR, it says that the folders I first opened are System Folders.....*

So I cannot open the RAR files, and I don't know what to do. The .NFO file just said to unRAR it and burn it. so I muct be doing something wrong. What do you guys think?

  1. Collect and grab all the .R## files and move it all to one folder. Including the .RAR file (It is the main compressed file). Double click the .RAR file. Then exctract it.

    Hope this helps,
