Okay, so ever since I was 9, I've had trouble falling asleep easily. For instance, let's say my bedtime was at 9pm, I'd just stare at my ceiling in my bed and fall asleep at around midnight or 1am. Even when I was exhausted from a long day or I got up at 5am, I still didn't fall asleep until hours after I needed to. Even now, when I go to bed at 10pm, I can't sleep until 1am, and I need to be getting up at 5am! What are some ways that I can fall asleep easier without taking those sleep drugs?

  1. drink tea

    don't think alot

about you past or your future

or else it will begin to be a habit

and every night you will go through the same thing

dont try to rexals cause studies show that will not make you sleepy

do meditation cause that smooths you down a bit and it makes you feel heavy and then before you know it zzzzzZZZZ zzzzzzZZZZ

  2. think of something when you try to sleep, like questions you want to solve or think about boys =] it helps..

  3. u might be my twin because its impossible for me 2 sleep i tryed counting sheep, eating, watching tv , and playing games the weird thing is that i even tryed exercise and getting tired just to make my brain fall asleep but nothing happens i hope whoever gives u the right answer can also help me 2

  4. Well, it's probably not too good for you, but eating something right before you go to sleep helps me. I don't do it a lot, but when I'm having trouble sleeping I will sneak downstairs and make a sandwich, come back up, eat it in my room, and I'll fall asleep within half an hour. Try it!

  6. The first thing you could do is develop a specific bed time and around that time always do the same stuff. Stuff such as watch TV, read, or play games. Just do anything where you won't have to move excessively. If you develop a habit of doing the same thing every night it will help you. It helped me as I read or watch TV for 15 mins every night before bed. Also, you might want to make sure your bedroom is comfortable. This includes your bed, the climate, and your clothes. You want your bed to feel good while not hurting your back/neck and make sure the temperature isn't too hot because you can't sleep when you're all sweaty. I usually keep a fan on for an hour or open a window. And finally get into some comfortable clothes like PJs. You could even try those noise producers (IDK what they're called) and find a noise that soothes you. If all fails try a whole new bedroom with a different bed. Hope this helps!
