Question:

How do I fall asleep when I've had caffeine?

Today around 5:00 in the afternoon I drank a Monster because I was feeling tired and wanted to have enough energy to go out and have fun.

Now I'm home, it's around 12 and I need to wake up early tomorrow. I don't want to have another sleepless night (I've been having those a lot lately), so what can I do to fall asleep even though I've had caffeine?

I know I drank it a while ago, but whenever I drink a Monster I can never fall asleep at night. What can I do? I hate just laying in bed staring at the ceiling, it drives me crazy! I'm too drowsy to stay up and watch TV or be on the computer but then I can't fall asleep!

Any advice, PLEASE?

  1. your body has built up a resistance to it...happens to me too, coffee does not keep me up and i work at nights :(

  2. have somebody puunch, hit you on your face, stomach or groin area. so hard youll fall asleep.

  3. Drink plenty of water. What happen is - you will have to visit the toilet many times. It not only dilute the cafaine, it make you tired when you urine. You will feel sleepy after 2-3 liters of water and believe me you will sleep very well after that. You probably wake up early (b/c you may need to go to the toilet) but you should have enough sleep.

  4. I don't know, but you know what is weird, I drank a BAWLS energy drink (Guarana and lots of caffeine)  two weeks ago at a friends house at like 4 in the morning, got introuble with the cops (made me more awake), and was stuck in a room with a light on and I forced myself to go to sleep in like 20 minutes..but I can barely sleep with no caffeine..

  5. yes excercise before bed. it will get you tired so you feel more eager to sleep

  6. Whenever I have a lot of energy..i usually exercise.that burns me out pretty well..i take a shower and then sleep like a baby.
