How do I fence a diamond thats worth about 8 grand?

Question

Its a 2.00 carat sapphire diamond.

I cant really answer questions about how I got them so I have to avoid pawnshops. They also don't give you the full value of what the diamond is worth.

My options are:

Pawn shops - already ruled out

Newspapers - not a good Idea

Consignment - An even stupider idea

Do you know where I can go to sell them with a minimum of questions asked?

I'm thinking a jeweler but I don't know how to go about doing that.

you will not get the full value even if you have the certificate of the diamond. in that case people go to a jewelry place i get what ever people want and like and with guarantee certificate and trading in the future so don't think your goin to get good money for that if people are not sure if its a real diamond so many scams every were now this days.
