How do I fight if im skinny? [EDITED]

Going to be in 9th grade.

14 years of age

Hey ok so im about one month im finally gonna be in High School, but im skinny as SH*T. Im just worried about getting the sh*t kicked out of me in school so...yeahh. If been in one other fight before. It wasnt really a fight it was body shots (like a game fight but u dont hate the other person). It wasn't really decided who won, but im pretty sure I did. I didnt really try cuz i wasnt mad at him, but i guess u fight alot better when ure mad at the guy ure fighting. He was about my size and i guess a little heavier than me. And please don't post any bullsh*t answers. Like if i get in a fight i don't want to have the rep of being a ***** and kicking him in the nuts or anything. Thanks

Ok so im not all into tht karate judo stuff.

And i know thats its not cool to fight in school and stuff, i mean i dont want to fight and stuff but if sum guy is fckign with me then i want to be ready to fight.

some fighting tips would be really apperciated.

OH EM GEE! look man ive been in your position already when i was in 5th grade! but luckily i had friends who always fist fighted and stuff. and i got pulled in yah know. and i got better nd better by EXPERIENCE! so all yu need is determination,a clever mind,brain power,some good friends and some muscle. and i think that karate c**p is god d**n g*y. so dont get into that cuz they teach you what everybody else knows! so once again  experience! so after school or something get with your friends nd jus start wrestlng. the first boy i ever fought was named leandro,(he was almost a stick cuz he was super skinny and so was i ,so whos gives a c**p if your skinny it dont mater)its like i hated him and you shuld have seen him. he was a way smaller than me. but he beat me badly. we fought ruthlessly (<-spelling?) and yea he won. cuz he wass experienceD! and with experience you learn knew tricks and tactics and get stronger without even working out(but that doesent mean you dont have to work out,working out is goood).but you have to reallly get into the fight.hopefully you get what im tryin to say. oh but i kicked his *** in 6th grade cuz he showed me the way to get stronger and better.i thank him for that

    ah and p.s. NOW leandros my best friend :D and sorry for usin the word EXPERIENCE to many times,lol,i dont even think i spelled it right,or did i?

  3. If you want to take the advice of people who lurk in here because they are huge UFC fans and think they know something because they saw a Jet Li movie then be prepared to take your lumps.

    This is a martial arts forum.  Martial artists avoid fighting when at all possible so we don't fight just because "sum guy is fckign with me."  We only fight if our life or some else's life is in danger and a physical confrontation is the only way out of it alive.  Fighting just because you're afraid you'll get a reputation as a wimp is really sad in the big picture.

    Now, if you really want to get some self confidence that you can handle a situation if it gets out of control, then get into karate, judo, kung fu or some other martial art.  If you cannot afford it or there is no place for you to train, join the wrestling team at your school.

  5. If you're "not all into tht karate judo stuff" then I guess you'll just have to learn how to run really fast. You can't get a few fighting tips and expect to be able to fight. You need training in a real martial art.

I wont give you any tips on how to fight but i give you a warning , and this is violence is not the answer , it make you unpopular with students and they will shun you, and keep away from you,non violence is the best thing all ways keep away from fights,just be good and quiet,and you will be liked.

  8. go do taekwondo or self defense, Do abit of weights. When in a fight always have some confidence.  

  9. Well, 1) Dont be horrible to people and you wont cause any problems so you wont even get into a fight.

    2) Try not to fight because it doesn't solve anything it makes matters worse.

    3) Get yourself into boxing, I quit about 7 months ago but it increased my body strength and taught me how to fight well.

  12. try training at a class jujisso's good.(its very hard 2 spell) and try geting a decent punch bag and when ur not on the internet doing homework or anything els piotless, give it a nice smackin up!!!

    but hey listen. my and my friend decided to take taekwondo this summer as just something fun to do. i would def recomned it! im the same age as you. and im a yellow belt already. ive only been in it for two months and ive learned so much. i can break someones nose and wrist and a bunch of other self defence skills and its acually fun! so i would say get a friends or two and make them do it wiht you! you will have a blast! have fun and good luck!

  14. I knew a skinny guy who took up Wing Chun because he was so thin and he would get beat up frequently. He was 6 feet tall (1,83 M) and 150 lbs (68 kgs.) He became very proficient in Wing Chun and his boney body made him fast and it made his strikes hard. You should look for a good Wing Chun school.

  16. if ur not gonna fight "dirty" cause its not "cool" then make friends with ur local hospital. where is ur "HOW 2 FIGHT FAIR IF I'M GONNA GET FUKCED UP" book? i don't have 1. idk about u. its a street fight. a street fight is ALL about ding what the other guy wont. if ur not prepared 2 win ne way nessicery then ur fukced.

  17. You have to train to fight or else you are not a fighter, and you will loose if someone is purposley trying to fight you.

    You need to decide what your move will be before it happens, and be prepared to use that move. It seems like you forget all your senses when you get in a fight if you are not expecting it. So, remind yourself on a regular basis, thats what a fighter does. He already knows what he is going to do. So, you wont be swinging blindly. Then Run!

  18. the real fact is..small frame or size is ok..but skinny is no no...you need to gain muscle or weight in being able to fight...that is why in fight competition there is weight category rules...cause most likely bigger guys are stronger and have higher advantage in fight overall...they can take stronger and more damage than smaller guy regardless of will power.....all those mindset thats says size does not matter in real fight is just to make you feel good and motivated...doesnt mean small or skinny guy cant win bigger guys in fight but just that the chances are very slim...and big person doesnt mean slow....they can equally be fast and powerful too....do you think featherweight boxer can take on the heavyweight?

  19. Its not how big or small you are, its how your going to throw down the fight, if your going to fight go UFC, grab moves dude. Grab moves are the best way to take down someone bigger or taller then you. Research some lock moves, if you cant throw a punch, why not grab and punch instead. I suggest working your muscles stronger so you can grab longer, kicking sometimes help, the more you kick in a position the more your used to it and the stronger it will get.

  21. Look, it's not possible to just give tips. You're likely to just forget it when the adrnaline kicks in. And it takes practise to actually do them well, especially under such stressful conditions. If I told you to how to do a back flip, you're not just gonna be able to do it right the first now. You have to actually learn to do them properly at a martial arts centre. Look in the yellow pages, or yell.com.

    Just learning boxing is good enough, really. Or do wrestling. It's up to you.

  23. yea so you need brain power if you can't provide enough muscle power. i hope you have a pretty big head.

    get some friends who have some muscle to back you up. they wont do it for free? pay em some cash. then go pick on other kids and collect some money. h**l you will even make some money if you are good. the muscle kid wont work for you? no problem. you have 2 legs to run, you can always run away if a fight broke out.

    Well anyways you can always use your brain to figure something out. h**l humans are physically not as strong as an elephant. but ever wonder how a human can kill or even tame an elephant?

    forget about all those martial art and working out, they are all in the past. brain power is the real power in our society today. ever heard of this "the one who tells stories rules the world"
