  1. You start counting the day you start your cycle.Count fourteen days & that's the day you start ovulating.Count another fourteen days & that's the day you start!

  2. The only sure way to pinpoint your fertile days is to use an ovulation test kit. You can get them at the drugstore and Wal-Mart. The test instructions will tell you when to start taking the tests according to when your period started last. I think most of them come with 7 tests now. You can also take your temperature which will raise slightly when you are ovulating.

  3. Hi

Its always a good idea to keep a track of your cycle. Recording it will show you if you have a regular or irregular cycle and how long your actual "period" lasts etc.

The way I do it for my own cycle is by marking down the days of my period on a calendar/diary. I use the shorthand "P1" for the first of my period, "P2" for the 2nd day, etc usually up to "P5" for day 5 depending on how many days it lasts. I use the shorthand so that no-one else but me knows what it means!  :-)

The number of days in your cycle is the number of days from the FIRST day of your period to the day before the first day of your next period.

Here's an example - say your 2nd last period started on the 4th July 2008 and your last period started on 1st August 2008 that means your cycle was 28 days long.

    Hope that helps!

  4. Count the days - The day you start your period is Day 1, your cycle ends the day before your next period starts.

Start charting your bbt to learn more about your cycles, get info about bbt at fertilityfriend.com.

  5. you go by the last day of your period then count 14days from that u will start to ova late

  6. -The first day of your period is day 1. Count each day until you get your period again.

  7. You're right, not everyone's is the same, so you can't just count.

Check out Taking Charge of Your Fertility. The link below includes charts that you can use with your temperature and other things to pinpoint things in your cycle.

  8. Start marking AF on a calender and then count the days from the first day of AF to the next AF.

Example: AF starts on July 11th. Next AF starts on August 10th. That would make your cycle 30 days long, which means you would ovulate around the 25 of July.
