How do I figure out the public transit system? O.O?

I'm thinking about using it next semester to get from home to college every day, since I'm moving (longer drive now) and gas is going up and up and.....

But I'm at a loss on how to navigate it. I've been looking at websites, but I'm still confused.

How does one figure out how to get from point A to point B using the public transit system?

  1. Call the local bus company and get a route book or most bus' will have them .. Or, go to the closest bus stop and ask the driver how to get from where you are to where you want to go..they know all that stuff

  2. You really should tell us which state and city you're in.  We can't magically read your mind and find out what "system" you're talking about.

  3. what city? my cystall ball is broken since you broke because

most transit system will have a transit planner or are

in google (google now has a transit route planner)

  4. Well it depends what bus system u use.. I live in Muncie and use what they call it MITS.. It is really simple but the first time might seem hard.. You get on the bus my your house or wherever you are and it will go to the bus station after its route and you will get off and probably wait for the next bus for a little bit unless your bus is there. It depends where your going.. You might not have to go back to the bus station if you are going somewhere along the route but if not follow the above directions.. So you will get on the bus to go where you are going then get off when you are where you want to go .. Its pretty easy in Muncie but really hard and complicated where I used to live in Indy.. so good luck.. I could maybe look up the site and all if you tell me what city..
