How do I figure out what will be taken out of my check for taxes?

I live in GA, and I will be filing married with 0 dependents. Also, I will be making 12$ an hour at a 40 hour work week. All I want to know is what I will actually be bringing home a week. Thanks, any help would be great!!

You can google tax estimator and get many tools. Having said that, I found this tool useful http://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-software/...

For $12 an hour about 15% of your salary would be taxed.

figure you will be taking home about half of what you make.

It is about $20 out of every $100 that goes to taxes, that you will get back when you file your tax return..... For 40 hours your pay check will be about $385.....
