How do I figure out which watermellon/pumpkin flower is a boy or a girl so I can pollinate them correctly?

I need to pollinate my wattermellon and pumpkins. How do I figure out which is a boy and which is a girl? HELP!

  1. stop having s*x with plants ,

    that is a bee`s job

    but if you must

    pollinate both

    and you cannot miss

    there are no g*y pumpkins

    the flowers are hermaphrodites


  2. In both types of vines you will see a ball below the flower on the female flowers. Also the female flowers mature faster and tend to bloom further out from the root. When you manually pollinate vining crops such as pumpkins, watermelons,and cucumbers you will get a lot of seeds.

  3. Flowers have both male and female parts...

    Just polinate all the flowers you see.  There isnt one or the other...

    All flowers will produce, if pollinated.
