Today I told this girl to please not to walk THROUGH my driveway to get to her apartment on the other side. She gives me a snotty attitude, comes back with 3 or 4 other girls and they all come out and threaten to kick my ***! I am 6 & a half months pregnant.

I am scared.

I dont know their names, just their address. They all live there.

How do I file an order of protection on them?!!!!

  1. call the cops because that's a thereat its a crime and they cant be doing that they will get in trouble for that and from there they will give the info you need to get a retraining order.

  2. My best guess would be to contact your local law enforcement.  They will have no problem obtaining names.

  3. order of protection doesn't do much it's not a guarentee you're safe. it's ONLY a piece of paper. They can still come back and get you. YOU must also take steps to insure your safety.

You need to contact your police department they'll handle you through the process.

Where the cops will get the order of protection is in their nearest judicial court like superior court, district cour or municipal court. the order lasts 2 weeks. After that, you will return to court and appear before a judge who decides whether or not the court can grant a full Protection Order that lasts for a year or longer.

  4. First, you have to call the cops and file a report that they threatened assault. After the report is filed, go see the judge and ask for a stay.Maybe she lives too close, along with her friends. How did they threaten you? If they threatened your baby, that would be really serious.

A judge in my county hates issuing orders against men. He doesn't have a problem with pregnant women against other women. Do it. Get copies. Stay in your house and don't answer the door. Did they hit you? File for assault for you and your child. Call the DA, in the morning and tell him your story, first thing. Let him deal with it.

Seriously, call the DA, first thing.
