Okay hi I am currently trying to figure out what value such as 1000 multiplied by .0625 would come out not in decimal form.

So for example 1000 x .0625 = 62.5 which is what i don't want i want 62.5 to be a non-decimal number like just 62.

So, how do i find these values that would come out non-decimal?

  1. .0625?X10 brings 0 out..X100 brings 06 out...and hence 10000 brings 4 of them out..finding factor is not tough..625 is 5^4..easy..so .0625 is 0.5^4..so factors is 0.5..

  2. Well, .0625 = 1/16. Does that help?
