Question:

How do I find God's will in my life?

I am a Christian woman who is going through a very tough time. My marriage is in shambles, my bank account is in the negative, and I am terrified that I will not be able to provide for my 6 month old son.

For a long time I have felt like I am being punished by God, but now I realize that maybe I am not doing His will. How do I find out what God wants from me? I want to be able to recognize what He wants me to do. How do I do that? Please give me some good advice.

  1. Look at all religions and see what they're solutions are to you're problems and what ever solution fits' best to life great problems then that is God's true religion . Don't choose right away. think about it.

  2. Begin by looking for a job and taking whatever is available.  Continue by seeking an advanced education.  From there, follow a career path that appeals to you and leads you into a successful and financially sound life.

WE are the music makers and WE are the dreamers of the dreams.

  3. Easy. By asking Him instead of Yahoo answers.

  4. Here's some good advice:

Why don't you dispense with the "god" nonsense and start taking responsibility for your own life and your own actions? Instead of begging some imaginary invisible man in the sky to pop in fix all your problems, start taking care of your own business.

  5. Here is what God says:

Act 20:24 But my life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus--the work of telling others the Good News about God's wonderful kindness and love.

Mat 6:25   "So I tell you, don't worry about everyday life-whether you have enough food, drink, and clothes. Doesn't life consist of more than food and clothing?

Mat 6:26   Look at the birds. They don't need to plant or harvest or put food in barns because your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than they are.

Mat 6:27   Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Of course not.

Mat 6:28   "And why worry about your clothes? Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing,

Mat 6:29   yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.

Mat 6:30   And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won't he more surely care for you? You have so little faith!

Mat 6:31   "So don't worry about having enough food or drink or clothing.

Mat 6:32   Why be like the pagans who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs,

Mat 6:33   and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.

Mat 6:34   "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.

Jhn 16:33 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world."

Rom 5:3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us--they help us learn to endure.

1Pe 1:6 So be truly glad!* There is wonderful joy ahead, even though it is necessary for you to endure many trials for a while.

1Pe 1:7 These trials are only to test your faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold--and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold. So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

1Pe 4:12 Dear friends, don't be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you.

1Pe 4:13 Instead, be very glad--because these trials will make you partners with Christ in his suffering, and afterward you will have the wonderful joy of sharing his glory when it is displayed to all the world.

2Pe 2:9 So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while punishing the wicked right up until the day of judgment

  6. Did you try googleing it?

  7. impossible

  8. First things first... please know that no matter how bad things look, the outcome God has for you has never changed, and he is definitely not punishing you, he is just letting you worry about whatever you want to and he is taking care of what you release to him.... So, my advice to you is this... let go... let go of whatever you are worrying about... but i do have an urge to pray for you so, if you don't mind, maybe the Holy Spirit will intervene on our behalf!!

Dear Father who is in Heaven most gracious and loving you are!! We come to you right now to ask for a blessing on this family Lord. There is pain and sorrow surrounding your precious children and they need you... they need you to take from their plate the things they do not know what to do with. Take it from them Lord, take it and replace in them a peace that allows them to know that you are there and you are taking their burdens from them. Lord, what to do sometimes is the hardest thing to do for us and easy for us to forget that in these times we should be turning to you. Here we are Lord, I stand with them and ask that you come and release us. Because I believe that you will give what we ask, I close this prayer believing that you already have this taken care of and a process of healing is beginning...

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior we ask these things.. Amen...

  9. It's simple.  Do everything with Love.  Do this, and you will undoubtedly be living as God intends for you.

  10. I'm not sure if this is the answer that you are looking for but just remember that God loves you. Whenever I'm going through a tough time I just crack open the Bible and listen to worship songs. It really helps me remember that He loves me and He loves you too. I'll be praying for you.

  11. just pray and ask for a sign. Also be in silence in a passage it says God tells a man to go up to a mountain to see him and it says there was a great wind but God was not in the wind then there was a fire and God was not in the fire then there was an earthquake and God was not in the earthquake and then there was silence and God was there.

  12. God will let you know his will for you if you've received salvation.  If you haven't then I would focus on that first.

  13. Inquire of the Lord about what He wants you to do.  If you have a Bible, look up all the references on "inquiring of the Lord".   It was practiced a lot, especially in the OT, and by very respectable people (including King David).

I've heard a lot of Christians say "pray more" or "read your Bible more"  or "go to a Christian counselor" as answers to these kinds of dilemmas.  But nobody ever teaches on asking the Lord specific questions to get specific answers, and it's right there in the Bible.

  14. First, it's not God's will for you to spend more than you make.  Can't say if your marriage is in God's will or not because I don't know the circumstances.

One thing you need to do is to trust God; without faith it's impossible to please God.  So you are out of God's will if you are doubting that God will provide for you and your son.

Fear is of the devil; the devil wants to torment you with fear; do not listen to the lies of the devil.  He is a liar; he cannot tell the truth, there is no truth in the devil.  He knows God's power first hand and he knows God has all power in the universe; so the only way he can steal from us and keep us from receiving from God is thru convincing us that his sorry pathetic lies are true.  But they are not true.

Like electricity is power from switch to light bulb, faith is the power between us and God.

Anytime you are going along and you feel a check in your spirit, an unease in your gut, that is God warning you that you are fixing to do, are looking at, listening to, going to do, or are thinking about something that is out of His will at that particular moment.  If you feel that unease in your gut stop whatever it is immediately.

Message me if you need to.

    God bless.
