How do I find a Good, old trail motorcycle, that are CHEAP?

I agree with Mike, an older XR is one of the most reliable bikes you can buy. They have been making them forever so finding a used one shouldn't be much trouble.

Look for a XR 100 if you want something thats not too big. any of the honda xr's are good bikes. xr 100's do about 45mph. they have plenty of power and are quiet. My friend had one and he could never kill it and it was super quiet through the woods. you can get a used XR 100 for about $1000 or less. look for a yamaha TTR or a honda CRF also. Definately a 4 stroke. they are quiet and can idle around all day. Just look in the classifieds of your local newspaper.

You dont get good and cheap together.

Good bikes will always be premuim price compared to cheap tat.
