Hi, I'm 13 and I run XC. I've been looking for a good pair of running shoes, but all the kinds that I like are really expensive, almost 100 dollars. My mom refuses to buy me a pair of shoes that cost more than $60. I've looked at *****, DSW shoes, The walking store, etc.,etc. Where am I supposed to find good shoes?!

  1. Sketchers are great.  They feel good and make your feet comfortable in any situation.

  2. Look at shoebuy.com  They don't charge shipping OR return shipping (if you want to return the shoes).  Also, they have many sales and they send you coupons through coupons.

  3. Check with a New Balance supplier on line. sometimes they have a deal on last years models and you can size up some good shoes too.

  4. hi. guess what! i'm 13 and run XC too. so, i got mine at payless shoe store. trust me, some of the cheap ones hold up really good. what you really need to look for is good arch support, and light weight. mine were ~ 15 dollars. give or take a few $. and sometimes wal-mart has some that are good too. my wal-mart has a row that has shoes on display w/ little tags under them that say what they are for. you could try that. trust me.

  5. I got a great pair of Fila running shoes on Ebay for $40.00.  They are comfortable.  I was a little skeptical buying these but I love them.

  6. Nike outlets also avoid Olimpia Sports, they only have sales sometimes. Hope I helped!

  7. I got a good pair for $40 at a Nike outlet and I run 2-3 miles daily.

  8. I would search for a running shoe store around your house on google.  And if there's one by your house, you could go to it, the employee's are usually runners and they know what they're doing, they'll find you a nice comfortable shoe, that its right for your foot. Also at a good price range, usually running shoe stores have good prices and even discounts for your school.
