Check the following sites.  I have worked with both Warming Families and All Crafts for Charity (AC4C) which are online groups.  You also can find local needs through the Woolworks website and the Lion Brand website lists groups in your area that collect (and sometimes meet together to make) knitted and crocheted things for charity.

  4. I would suggest you contact your local chapter of United Way. They would most likely have a list of organizations of charities who work with  teens who have unplanned pregnancies or  places like Red Cross who help out victims of disasters like hurricanes or floods.

  5. go to annies attic or ask.com; both have many links for charitable work.

    I know a few people who crochet for any shelter in town or for the preemies in the nicu at the local hospital.
