I am 18 years old, and I just started college yesterday. I am renting a room near the school, but eventually I will be unable to afford my rent as my current job is so far away that I can only work on weekends. I need a job that I can work part-time and still make enough to pay for things (such as $200 a week), yet I can only work Mon-Thur and possibly early friday...help!

  1. Definitely check with your school's human resources department. Many times they have jobs available that are not part of work study for students. This is especially helpful if you are not eligible for any work study. Otherwise, just check and see who is hiring locally.

  2. You can look for jobs closer in the local paper but I really suggest going to your school board and seeing what is there.. Working for the school is excellent.. They base it around your schedule and sometimes they take money off your overall tuition. There are plenty of jobs at the schools ^^

  3. You can apply for freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription, online tuition or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://wa7.info . Many of these companies have been in business for several years
