How do I find a patient in a manila Hospital?

Question

I'm desperately looking for my friend, the only information I have received is that he is a hospital being treated for cancer in Manila.

hospitals won't give me information, because I don't speak tagalog and I'm not a relative. I live in the UK,and there are a great many hospitals in Manila. Anybody any idea?

i would understand their protection of ones privacy and it would be difficult to hind your friend unless you know his/her relatives or at least a common friend.
