How do I find a wasps nest ? ?

Question

I have a problem with wasp's - they are everywere arround here so could anybody tell me how far from their nest they fly ?

and a way to track them ?

Wasps make thier nests in covered areas like overhangs for homes and in trees.  If your property has alot of trees, call an exterminator.  If you have an average house in an average neighborhood...they might not be your problem...they might be comming from your neighbors.  Wasps do travel far from thier nests, but if there are alot in one area that indicates the nest is quite close.  Check you overhangs, garages, sheds etc.  Any place like home depot sell cans to get rid of Wasps.  Once you locate thier nest, don't try to knock it down.  These sprays can shoot somewhere up to 30 feet.

If they are walking, they don't leave much of an imprint, so you will need a magnifying glass for this, but if you are very very patient, I think it can be done.  Wasp tracking is a dying art.
