  1. Depending on the make and brand of your computer, you can also call up the company and find out any kind of information that you need about your computer. However, if you have registered your computer online to that particular corporation, then you should have toll free numbers to call and ask questions, without being charged by the min.

  2. On a windows based PC Under the start menu, select programs,

    Go to accessories, then system tools, then select system information.

    This will open a screen that will tell you everything that you need to know about your computers configuration from what hardware in installed to what software is installed.

  3. Go In  START, then control pannel.. look for the icon SYSTEM .. it should be all there ;)

  4. There are many ways, depending on your system:

    * The BIOS startup screen

    * Apple - About this Mac

    * sudo lshw (terrminal)

    * Install gnome-device-manager (gui)

    * This video

  5. Use CPU-Z. It gives detailed information about your motherboard, ram, and processor. As for the GPU, just go to the device manager and look there.

    However, if your computer is prebuilt, just search for the model name/number on google and look at the specs.

  6. if its a mac, click on the blue appl in the upper left-hand corner and select 'about this mac'

    if its not a mac, i dunno

  7. Go to this link and download "SIW "with installer-on the left. Then RUN it and you can find out almost anything that is in your computer,even your Win. key,temp, video slot,RAM,etc

    It's Free and it's good.You don't need cpuz or a other program.
