How do I find an acting agent?

I want to become an actress and I dont know how to find an agent in Seattle or near there.

  1. you need to have actually acted in community plays or got a part through open auditions to showcase your stuff....becoming part of an acting union also helps (SAG, etc)


  2. Take loads of acting classes, and in the meantime of those classes, do as many plays as you can. Get lots of training and experience this way. You can also try to be an extra in a film, be in a student film, or in an independent film for experience.

      Once you've made the decision you're totally serious about this as a career and are already on the track, get some professional headshots.

    Write up an acting resume. You can google that if you're not sure what it is or how to write it.

    Then mail your headshot and resume to acting agents in Seattle.
