  1. I like zabasearch, too.

I've also found several people with Intellius.com.  Yes, it will cost you 7.95, but if you don't have the luck you need with the unpaid sites, it's a good one.

  2. Google her name.  I have found three people that way.  Takes a lot of time, hours of reading page after page, but can be worth it.  And also, I have a program that searches through Driver's Licenses, Criminal Records, Voter Registration, Property Onwers, and others.  If you want to email me privately, I will run it through for you and see what comes up.

  3. call news and ask if u can give shout-out

  4. i had the same problem because my mother is korean. someone found her on classmates.com and i found out either she was married and changed her name or she came to the united states and changed it either way on classmates it gave her name everyone knew her by and her funky different last name. i typed it into my space and her picture came up. that's how i found her. and then i went through the yellow pages to get her number. or at least her last listed number.

  5. List your information with International Soundex Reunion Registry. It is free. http://www.isrr.net/

Also go to www.forums.adoption.com and register there which is also free and has a ton of ideas of how to go about searching and how to track down paperwork.

You can also try posting your date of birth and place on ancestry.com

  6. I recently found my brother who was adopted with only his name and birthdate at ussearch.com. Tell them you need a list of everyone with that name and birthdate - you will get a list of everyone in the USA with that name and birthdate and then start calling them. Eventually you will find her. Good luck - BTW don't be scared. My brother is so happy I found him. I'm sure your mom will be too -

  12. There are many searches on line that you can do where you pay a small fee to get a back ground study on a person.  You just put in the name and birthdate and pick which one you want to look up.  Intelius is one of them.  Just look it up on line.
