I am very interested in golf. I started about 3 months ago, I play on a regular basis about 3 times a week. I am continually getting better and working with a pro to perfect my swing. I am looking to find some type of help with the funding for lessons, training, equipment, ect. I am mainly looking to pursue golf for college and possibly and hopefully further it to the Nationwide tour.

  1. Prove that you have the talent by entering all amateur tournaments and winning,, be at the top of the Junior Amateur list of best players, win a few and the colleges will be offering you a place. You should have the encouragement of the high school coach and you must actually be the best. Colleges will not accept potential. They want the true competitor who wins.

  2. You're 21 and you've only been playing 3 months?  Good friggin' luck!

  3. You first want to get at least a year's worth of golf in. Also, if you want fundings, go to www.fundingthegolfplanet.net

this website should help you get on the right track.

  4. It sounds like you are pretty young like high school. I woud suggest caddying at a course close to your home. It is one of the easiest ways for a kid to make money.

  5. I suggest get a job at a golf course.  Picking up range balls, marshaling just whatever is available.  Not only will you get paid but you will play free golf and get free range balls.  Thats what I did when I was younger.

If you're looking for a sponsor you're going to have to play a lot more golf and play in some local tours to get noticed but just starting out it looks like you will have to work for it.
