  1. Two websites you can try: www.dbb.de (German rail website) and www.oebb.at (Austrian rail website.) Yes, it is possibly providing no trains are delayed. I lived near Bregenz up until a month ago and regularly took the train to Karlsruhe in Germany, which takes roughly 4 hours. It will be even quicker if you're willing to pay to take faster trains (ICE = Intercity Express, if you intend to take one of those you need to pay a little extra as a normal ticket only lets you use regional, inter-regional and EC trains)

  2. www.DBB.de

  3. Here a web site that might help.

  4. Go to the below website. It has everything you need.

There's another one below that one.

  5. Yes, you can do it.  Please notice that you must go to the Regionalbahnhof in the Frankfurt airport, there are at least two stations, so be careful!

    The timetable is this:

    Frankfurt(M) Flughafen Regionalbf 11:22 RE 3309

    Frankfurt(Main)Hbf 11:34

    Frankfurt(Main)Hbf 11:50 ICE 595

    Ulm Hbf 14:06

    Ulm Hbf 14:11 IC 119

    Bregenz 16:14

    Fare: 74,20 EUR

There are other trains, all with changes at several stations, the platform number is in the timetable.  You don´t need to book a ticket, you can purchase all the trip via internet and print it at home.

There are other services if you miss the 11:22 one, at 11:47 and 12:17, you will arrive at Bregenz at 17:15, but you will need change more trains.
