How do I find my animal guide?

After researching, I found out they are also called "animal totems". The websites are all different so I thought I'd ask if anyone here has found theirs and how they found it.

great question. I have become fascinated by animal guides in just the last few weeks. How do you find them? You already have,  Your animal guides come to you as you need them. When meditating, you will be able to see which ones offer their presence to you and you will see why they have come to you at this point in your life. They can change at different points in your life.

If a dog shows up  it means to keep your faith strong no matter what is going on in your life. It is important for you to volunteer for something purely in the spirit of service.  Remain determined and resolute even if you face some negativity or disappointment. Show your love and appreciation in creative ways to those you are closest to .

Give your loyalty to those you love and cherish.

Call on a dog when:

you have been working on a project and your reslove is beginning to fade. If you are feeling lonely and in need of companionship. You feel the need for immediate and strong protection. If you feel like giving up.

If a Dog is your power animal:

You are very loyal to your friends, work situations and community.

You thrive when you are living and working in groups of people rather than be by yourself.  When someone needs something you are often the quickest to respond.

I've found quite a few mine. One of my spirit guides is a Native American Shaman, and I think they sort of come with or through him. I know he has something to do with it. But they find me in my dreams. I'll have an odd dream where I just see the picture of a tiger, or a black panther (cats are my totem).

When your personality has matured enough and you try to fulfill your spiritual role in society it will come to help you. It will find you. Looking for it is not the way.

i would say ur guide is a dog.   mine is a wolf and my friend's is a dragon. we see them in our dreams too. we know what they are because of how we feel about them when we se them it's no ordinary dream they also  usually appear during tuff times in our lives.
