How do I find my grandfather who put my father up for adoption.?

He was in the military in Japan. I only have his name, but no other information.

    peoplefinders.com is a good place to start.  

    Join some adoption search groups, like theadoptiondatabase at googlegroups, or some yahoo groups like SoaringAngels or theregistry.  Both have search angels who will try to help you, or will give you tips for your search.


  2. Is it an unusual or common name.  If you have a name you can find him.
