  1. Go to command prompt (start, run - type in cmd and hit enter).  At the > prompt type in "ipconfig /all" without quotes.  You will be give a lot of info.  The default gateway IP address shown is most likely the router IP address.  There is NO assurance that 192.168.0.1 is the default gateway on all routers just because it is on some brands - and, depending upon use the factory default may not be suitable.

  2. your router ip is your wep key

  3. follow the following steps

    click on start

    then Run

    type cmd

then type the following command in the dos window

    ipconfig /all

you will get all the details related to your machine ip, subnet mask and default gateway

the ip mentioned in the default gateway will be your router ip

  4. I think its http://192.168.1.1/ or http://192.168.1.254/

If not go to start -> control panel -> network connections -> click on your connection -> then click on support -> and there it will be written next to default gateway.

  5. try

    192.168.1.1

I wouldn't see the need in changing the MTU.

  6. Try 192.168.1.1  it should work it is the typical addy for routers.

  7. You can check it by running an IPconfig on your computer:

(assuming you are running a PC with windows installed)

    start -> run -> "cmd"

    hit ok

type "ipconfig /all" and hit enter

Look for "Default gateway".  This is probably your router's IP address.

    It's most likely 192.168.1.1

You can access the web interface using http://192.168.1.1

  8. The most easiest thing is to call your Internet Service Provider.
