How do I find newly registered businesses?

I'm a freelance Graphic Designer looking to market more to find clients. Being a one person company, I find that I seem to attract new businesses.

Is there a list which I can obtain from say the government with all the newly registered businesses on it? Or does anyone know of a forum or a new business search website?

you can do a free business name or company name search on asic.

establishment of new company names are published in government gazzett. however its just pages n pages of names.
