  1. Assuming that you are putting the dishwasher close to the sink, you can install a tee ( use same material as existing plumbing ) and install a compression fitted shutoff to the hot water line. You'll also have to figure out a source of power and where waste water will be discharged.

  2. the shut off valve is usually at the water heater, every home has a shut off valve

  3. EASY as 123...

#1 You will have to shut off the main

locate your water main or water meter

at your water meter you will find a valve

    shut it off.

#2 then take a (picture of the pipe)

you want to put the valve on

so the hardware store will know what to give you.

    (most are 1/2 inch)

they will give you the supply lines you need as well.

    # connecting the pipe

    Copper pipe

    Plastic

    Steel (galvanized)

Just screws on like a water hose

just add some plumbers tape to the threads first

    don't forget about the drain

    Extra Tips

*1 take a picture before you go to the hardware.

*2 Not all hardware stores know plumbing so try (home depot) they r trained

*3 its not hard (even the plumbers keep going to the store)..lol

*4 The drain under all kitchen sinks are one and a half inch diameter

    (1 1/2 )

*5 they sell a drain pipe with a small pipe that comes out the side

    for your dish washer drain

*6 don't over tighten the drain pipes (they break easy)

so just hand tighten and if they leak and only then

give it quarter inch turn then check for leaks again.

*7 proper way to check for drain leaks

is to fill the sink up, then release it.

look under for any nut that may need to be tightened

*try to plan it out. take a picture of your set up and plan to the hardware and the job will be much easier

Good luck and turn off the water at the main first then add all the valves you want

    ps

don't make a valve... or you will have headaches  purchase them

  4. Are you sure it's not outside or under the mobile home somewhere? There has to be a shut off... there's really no way to make one because the water pressure is too strong.

If you can't find it outside or under the unit, ask the manager of the site, if there is one.
