How do I find out about someone in the army

Question

I have his name and want to know if he really is in the army. He is dating a friend and is home every weekend without permission. I just want to know what he is up to and to make sure she doesn't get hurt. He is also on the phone with her ALL the time. How is that possible?

He may be in the Reserves or National Guard (but they usually WORK weekends.)

1 - Just ask to see his MILITARY ID CARD...

#2 - Ask him his 3 General Orders (if he cant name them right off the bat, he isnt in the army lol)

#3 - if you have all of his information you can go to

http://www.defenselink.mil/faq/pis/PC04M...  and do a service member lookup.

Tell your friend to ask for his ID card.

I was told that any soldier cannot go past 250 miles without a permission to leave. Also, soldiers work and they are very busy. Check the recruiter or the unit where he's stationed or ask him to give you his boss's contact info "just in case"

is he stationed close by? then yes he can come home every weekend... they dont always work..... ask a local recruiter they might be able to help or ask her if she has seen his military id card
