How do I find out how much my company's shares are worth?

I just founded a new corporation and it has a total of 5000 shares at the moment. I want to offer share to the public as a means of gaining the capital needed to begain conducting business.

  1. The shares are worth whatever someone is willing to pay.  It's as simple as that.
