I am trying to buy a new house, and I know that there is a website where you can find out about house information. Such as.......who owned your house before you did.........how much they paid.......etc. Does anyone know this website. And it's a government website, so don't give me a none government website. I'm usually pretty good about finding these kind of things online, but I'm having some trouble. OH.......and it needs to be for Georgia also. Thanks!!

  1. agree with wiseguy

  2. All information on any house should be on file at the Hall of Records or something akin to it.  Start by getting the tract # alnog with the address.  This will also provide you the taxable value of the property.

  3. Usually you can find this information through your County Tax Assessment. IDK if every county has a website but try searching *County Name* + assessment
