  1. If it dose not say so on the car or in the factory paperwork IT IS NOT e-85, Flex cars fuel system ,computer system, O2 sensers and more are differant because of the amount of Alcohol in the fuel. Please do not just put it in as it may do damage.

  2. Fill it up and see what happens, then let the rest of us know.

Or you could call the manufacturer.

  3. Read your owner's manual or the stickers on the car itself.

  4. E85 doesnt do any good. It doesnt make sense economicaly. And even if it did make economical sense, it is really just diluting the problem that is oil.

  5. go to the professional scientific warehouse

  6. Check your owner's manual.  Look on your car for Flex-Fuel labeling/badging, especially at the gas cap or under the hood.

You can view all of the E85 capable flex-fuel vehicles through:

    http://www.fueleconomy.gov/f*g/byfueltyp... and http://www.e85fuel.com/e85101/flexfuelve... and http://oee.nrcan.gc.ca/transportation/to...

Most gasoline vehicles can safely use gasoline containing up to 10% ethanol (E10).  However, you have to have a vehicle specially designed to use higher ethanol concentrations, called a flex-fuel vehicle, to use E85 (85% ethanol).  (Higher concentrations not only have lowered fuel economy (ethanol has a lower BTU/energy content than gasoline), but can trigger check engine lights for rich burning starts, and can also melt/damage fuel lines that aren't designed for it.)

There are few flex fuel (E85, or 85% ethanol) stations available in the US. You can look them up at:
