How do I find out my Friend Code in Pokemon Diamond?

Okay, so I have a Pal Pad but when I click my code it says "To obtain your Friend Code, please log on to the Nintendo WFC". Please help me!

Just when you turn on the game where it says continue game, or restart there should be one that says "Nintendo Wi-Fi" or "Nintendo WFC" and if u just click on the and look around u should find it

to get your friend code you need to configure your wi-fi setting which are set on the title page at the bottom. click on it and then hook up to a network and then you will be able to go on wi-fi and recieve you're friend code
