Was looking a house to rent while I was walking through the house my 3yr old son grabbed my sisters hand tight like he was scared. When we were loading up to leave my son said "mom a man named John use to live in this house" little creepy huh? I wanted to research the address out of curiosity Just to see if he might have seen something?

  1. Just looking at the house makes me uneasy:

Sometimes the local Real Estate Assessment office posts that information online.  Looks like they have theirs set up differently than my local office, just a searchable PDF instead of a database.  Not much help, so far.

    Here's something:

    803-230-8810 Wanda Wood

    2235 Old Hwy. 321, York, 29745

Maybe she would have some information.  Possibly a relative named John?

We might look into searching local obituaries.  Looks like the house was recently put on the market.

Let's see:  if nothing helpful happens to be available online, you possibly could try to contact Public Records:

Also, the Clerk of Court's Office states that they keep land records, deeds and legal descriptions of property that date from the 1700's to the present.  That could be a lead.
