How do I find out the number of my phone line? (australia)?

The phone line in my apartment is not connected but I want to find out if it was connected at one stage and what the number was.

Is there somewhere online I can find out or a number I can call? Don't make me call Telstra again, they'll drive me mad!!!

just go to telestra counter.....dont make a call it will drive u mad.....or find out by yeelow pages...if there is still not help...just call to 911..(just kiding)..:).....or might better go to police station ask help....good luck....

Hey, I had to call Telstra last week and 4 hours and 7 phone calls later I got sorted so there is hope.

Go into a Telstra shop if theres one handy. It'll be quicker.

Well, I'd like to think it wouldn't be slower

if you know the name of who lived there before you look it up in the phone-book

Sorry - you will probably have to deal with telstra again!  I know they are a pain.  You can try hooking a phone up to the line and calling 12722123 to find out the line ID but I am not sure if that will work or not for your situation if the line has been disconnected.
