How do I find out what kind of pill this is?

Recently we found some pills hidden in my brother's room. We are trying to find out what kind of pills they are, to determine if he's taking medications that are not his or if it was something that's been prescribed to him. It was just strange that if they are his, then why were they hidden?! Does anyone know of any websites that I can go to to find out what these 2 pills are that we found?

  1. get your hands on  PDR and see if it matches up to any of the pictures in it.

If they are prescribed then it would have the pill description on the bottle.

  2. This is the link from the Physicans Desk Refrence website.  The PDR is widely used to identify medication.  Hope this helps!!

    http://www.drugs.com/pill_identification...

can you tell the color? the shape? if there are any imprints on them? if you have this info then go to the website!!

  3. What do they look like?

  4. Take them to the pharmacy to find out.

They don't need to be in a bottle for a pharmacist to know what they are. And looking on line at photos could give you a wrong answer.
