To transfer files, simply attach the cord to the phone on one end and the computer USB port on the other, and transfer files as you would a camera, hard drive, or mp3 player. I'm sure your phone comes with a program too if you still have the box. If not, try the Sony Ericsson website.

to find out what model, look around the settings section.

to transfer files, put the usb into the computer attached to the sony ericsson, and open windows explorer.  follow the instructions after that.

Or you can press the volume buttons on the right side of your cellphone and it will tell you your cellphone info.

Transferring with usb is quite easy

All you have to do it plug it in to your computer and hook your cellphone up. Go to my computer and you will see a removable hard drive which is your cellphone. Drag and drop and there you go
