I'm screening for stocks that derive a significant portion of their revenue from outside the U.S. Many reports mentions the specific percentage, but I do not know where to find the source of this information. The company websites don't all provide it.

  1. It should be in their quarterly and annual reports.  You can screen for 10-K and 10-Q reports, and by company here.

  2. google.com

  3. Request their annual report

  4. I would look on a website about the company of interest itself, or contacting somebody working in such an area.  But first I would finish reading the question and tell you I'm not sure if you can't find anything on the website.  Go with the contact thing.

  5. There is no uniform definition for this percentage.

If a company has revenue transferred as a dividend from a subsidiary, we think that is it? But the company may also be making money on product sold to the outside company.

Now we can decide what our profits are within USA. But with exchange rates, preferential pricing, and delays between costs and revenues with changing  exchange rates... we have more than a little difficulty knowing if we are even making profit despite the numbers.
