I am running Windows XP. Recently there seems to be some program/process that keeps doing something with my internal hard drive and cause it to keep spinning. It might be an indexing process or something. But I can't find anything under Windows Task Manger. How else can I find out what's going on?

  1. Use this http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysin... , or , more powerfull but much more difficult to use (configure it or you will be drowned in data) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysin...

  2. Right click your task bar, and from the list, pick Task Manager. There you go!
