I have recently set up a new yahoo group for women only about sexuality. I am having trouble finding my group in the groups lists and want to know where it is, or if it is even in the lists? If not I need to know how to get it there! I have done the bit under management on my group page and put it under L*****n, but I can't see it! Help?

  1. left side of homepage, near middle bottom

    Info - Settings

    Group Information

    Members: XXXX

    Category: XXXXX  <-----

    Founded: XXXXX

    Language: English

if it isn't listed under adult, Yahoo will put it there once they review the new group due to it's topic. when that happens, your group wont be listed in the general directory, to locate it you'd need to be on a adult group and enter the search from that search bar.

  2. It takes Yahoo's servers a few days, sometimes up to a week, to catch up to new Groups and get them listed in their category and appearing in Group searches.  Be patient, and you'll eventually see it in the proper category list and in appropriate searches.

If you want to check which category it'll list under, go to your Group's home page.  Part-way down the left-hand side of that page is a Group Information box that includes the category your Group is classified under.  Note that this category is clickable, and will take you to the listing of all listed Groups in that category.
